The 2024 Christmas Toy Store
Open from Monday 2nd December until Tuesday 24th December, our 2024 Christmas Toy Store offers whānau the chance to provide new gifts and/or toys to children up to 13 years old.
Like our Social Supermarket, the Christmas Toy Store prioritises dignity of choice, allowing parents or whānau to choose items for their children from a wide selection of donated new gifts/toys.
how do i arrange a shop at the christmas toy store?
We ask that all applicants visit reception at Whakamaru in order to request and fill out a form.
Whakamaru is located at 4 Oxford Terrace, Mount Cook, 6021, Wellington.
Due to the volume of requests, we cannot guarantee that appointments will be scheduled for the same day. You may be asked to return at a later time for your appointment. We understand how frustrating this may be, but we have added later appointment times and Saturday appointments to try and accommodate as best we can.
If you are unable to come into Whakamaru to complete your form, we can provide information about other organisations that may be able to support you.
